We were approached to create a permanent installation in the rooftop lounge of “CÉ LA VI Tokyo”, a restaurant located on the 18th floor of the newly opened Shibuya FUKURAS. “CÉ LA VI” is a series of restaurants with locations around the world—from the iconic Marina Bay Sands in Singapore to other premier locations in Hong Kong, Saint-Tropez, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, and more.

The work on display is a series of artwork printed on Japanese gold leaf paper. Located in a semi-outdoor space, the installation utilizes custom-made glass boxes with a built-in lighting system to house the delicate artwork from the elements while illuminating the artwork at night.

With access to the installation limited to restaurant guests, we invite you to come and experience the sensational food as well as the installation in the rooftop terrace space.

新しく開業した「東急プラザ渋谷 Fukuras」。この最上階ルーフトップに位置する「CE LA VI（セラヴィ）東京」の18F・ルーフトップラウンジにアートインスタレーションを制作し常設展示されました。セラヴィはシンガポールのシンボリックな存在である「Marina Bay Sands（マリーナベイ・サンズ）」の57階や、香港、フランスのサントロペ、台北、クアラルンプール、ドバイなどで展開している総合エンターテイメントレストランです。

作品が展示されているルーフトップのラウンジスペースは、屋根はありますが屋外ということで、金箔に特殊印刷された繊細な作品を額装し、その額装された作品をさらに雨や風をプロテクトするため、包み込むように頑丈なガラスのボックスを特殊設計し、屋外での常設に耐えうる展示作品として納品しています。またガラスケースの中に照明も内蔵し、夜の見え方を考え、作品が美しくライトアップされるように設計もしています。

レストラン利用しないと入れないスペースですが、ルーフトップ・テラス席での開放的な食事の時間と共にアート作品も楽しんで頂けると幸いです。
