1A residence project, launched by the joint-venture between artless Inc. and 1moku landscape design & research, is based on the concept of “symbiosis between nature and architecture”.

Case 01. is located in the forest of Karuizawa. We created a landscape design that makes use of nature as it is, cutting down as few trees as possible in order to achieve harmony of nature and architecture. The architecture is a collaboration with LDK Inc., a company with unique construction methods; the design is based on the concept of sustainability and respect for nature. The residence is released to be a second house or a third place for people to spend a primitive yet rich time in the forest, away from urban daily life.

1A. residence project strives to grow as a project brand that carries out 1A’s nature-friendly landscape design in collaboration with various architects and designers.

 

1A. residence project は、artless Inc. と 1moku landscape design & research との合弁会社 1A. ltd. による「自然と建築の共生」をコンセプトとしたレジデンスデザインプロジェクトとしてスタートしました。

Case 01. は、軽井沢の森の中に、自然をそのままに生かすランドスケープデザインとして、可能な限り木を切らず、自然と建築の調和を考え設計しています。 建築は独自の工法を持つ LDK とのコラボレーションを行い、サステナビリティおよび自然環境に敬意を図ることをコンセプトとしたデザインを行っています。都市の日常から少し離れた森の中でプリミティブな豊かな時間を過ごすためのセカンドハウスやサードプレイスとしてリリースしました。

今後、 1A. residesnce project は、1A. の自然に配慮したランドスケープデザインとさまざまな建築家やデザイナーとコラボレーションするプロジェクトブランドとして成長していくことを模索していきます。
